I'm sure many of you probably have heard about the popular lip tint pack from Berrisom by now. I've been wanting to try this product since it was released and I eventually decided to give it a go. I think the product is very unique and innovative as I've never heard of anything such as this before. Keep reading for my thoughts on this interesting product and whether it lives up to the hype!

Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack is a best-selling lip tint pack, also known as "lip tattoo" for its tattoo-like lasting power. It claims to provide vivid colors and unprecedented lasting power that would stay on until the end of the day without any touch-up since the product would not budge or transfer. The product works like a mask pack - you apply it on the lips, leave it on for 5-10 minutes, and remove the dried product to achieve lasting colors on your lips. It currently has 9 shades to choose from. I selected No. 7 Vivid Scarlet because I was looking for some orange shades instead of the usual pinks and reds I would normally pick.
The product comes in a simple but adorable lip balm-like tube packaging. It is dispensed through a small opening, which is relatively easy to control the amount of product released. The shape of the applicator also helps with application around lip lines and corners.
The lip pack has a thick gel consistency which can be tricky to apply at first. After 5-10 minutes, it dries out and transforms into a mask that you can peel off to reveal vividly tinted lips. It doesn't dry out your lips during the process and it easily peels off without any pain or hassle.
No. 7 Vivid Scarlet is a bright reddish orange. It's vivid and suitable for a wide range of skin tone. I was a bit concern that the shade would look too orange and weird on me, but it actually turns out pretty flattering on my yellow-toned complexion.
Application-wise, you'll definitely need practice to cover your lips with an even layer without making a mess. I recommend applying in short strokes and releasing the product bit by bit. With a thin layer, you can achieve the result shown above. If you desire more pigmentation, you can apply a thicker layer or go over with another layer. The product is considered pigmented, but I wish it would be more opaque. I wouldn't say it is drying, but it's not hydrating either, so I highly suggest you to go over with a lip balm or a clear gloss to prevent flaking/chipping lips during wear.
Now, does it live up to the 'lip tattoo' reputation? Yes, it does! It is very long-wearing and it won't budge no matter how much you talk or eat. An exception is if you eat something very oily - with that, it might come off. One thing worth mentioning - make sure to apply an even coat to achieve evenly colored lips. If you apply too thick or too thin at some parts, you could get uneven result and it's a hassle to fix. You will also need to prepare your lips to be a smooth canvas before you use this product so the gel will go on smoothly and evenly.

- Long wearing - it would easily last an entire day
- Doesn't smudge nor transfer after hours of wear
- Not drying but not hydrating either - going over with a lip balm or a clear lip gloss is recommended
- Quite pigmented - might need 2 layers for more opaque coverage
- Will require practice for perfect, mess-free application

- Takes time to apply so it is not suitable for when you are in a hurry
It's a really exciting experience getting to try this product out, and it surprised me how well it really works. Apparently, this is not just a gimmick product like I initially thought it might be. This is a perfect option when I need to go through a day (or extended hours) without having to touch up, like a concert or night out, where it is such a hassle to fix your make up once in while to keep your lips in perfect condition after all the drinks and talks. I highly recommend this lip pack to anyone looking for super long-wearing product. It is definitely worth a try!
