This is the overview of the kit I received from Smile Brilliant. It came with catalyst paste, base paste, and a tray for impression which is later molded into custom-fitted trays. There were also 3 syringes each for whitening gel and desensitizing gel.

First thing to do is to create an impression for the custom fitted tray. I had to quickly mix the catalyst paste with the base paste and place the mixed pasted on the provided tray. Then, I immediately impressed by teeth on the tray before the paste hardened. Below are the outcome, which I sent back to Smile Brilliant so they can create the tray out of the impressions.

These are the mold which were made during the process and the clear custom fitted trays. The trays also came with a convenient storage case.

The trays are soft and flexible. They seem durable but I wouldn't risk treating them too harshly. When I tried them on, they fitted like gloves and didn't feel uncomfortable to leave on for extended period of time.

Here are the whitening gel and desensitizing gel to be used with the trays. They come in a form of syringes which are easy and mess-free to use as I can control the amount dispensed. One syringe can last up to around 3 applications, depending on the size of your teeth.

To use the product, apply a thin line along the middle of the inner front part of the tray. This way, the gel can be distributed evenly including the hard-to-reach areas. Then, wear the tray with forward pushing motion instead of upward sliding motion. Make sure your teeth are clean and dry before applying to maximize effect.

This is the result I got after 7 applications, which took me around two weeks. I have sensitive teeth so I did it once every other day for 2 hours per application. My teeth were not terribly stained to start off with, but I can see clear improvement in the shade after using the product. I think they can get even whiter with additional applications so I wouldn't say this is a final result. During the session, I did experience some tooth sensitivity and gum irritation. However, they were mild and definitely bearable. Plus, I could always shorten the session duration when I felt the side effect getting worse.
