It's been a while since I last shared with you my wishlist, and I feel like this month is a good time to share one since there are so many beauty products on my radar right now - some are released a while ago and some have just arrived. Let's get started with one of the hottest releases this month which got the fashion and beauty community (and me) obsessed over - yep, I'm talking about the Christian Louboutin nail color.
- Christian Louboutin Rouge Louboutin Nail Color ($50 at Saks)
There's no need for much explanation why I'm going crazy over this. I mean, look at that gorgeous bottle design. It is truly one of a kind and definitely a must for a collector like me. Plus, who doesn't adore Louboutin? I know 50 bucks is a lot for a red nail polish but I just can't take my eyes off this beauty. - Cle de Peau Beaute Eye Color Quad ($55 at Saks)
Cle de Peau has just released its new eyeshadow quad and I see positive reviews on it from many of my favorite bloggers. I'm eyeing Satin Moon specifically - it seems like a great neutral taupe-brown palette for everyday wear. - YSL 'Baby Doll' Kiss & Blush ($40 at Nordstrom)
I'm currently looking for a nice cream blush and this got on my radar. I've seen mixed reviews on this so I'm still deciding whether to get it or not. YSL products generally work well on me though, so I'll likely give it a go. Plus, it can be used on the lips as well. I'm currently looking at shade no. 2 and 8. - Primera Skin Relief UV Protector SPF 50+ PA+++ (27,000 Won at TesterKorea)
I ran out of my old Shiseido sunscreen and moved on to the new one, still from Shiseido but another formula. Well, guess what, my skin doesn't seem to like it. It did'nt break me out badly but I feel that my pores become clogged more than usual and some dry flakes suddenly appear. So, it's maybe the time to search for a better one. I'm currently interested in the sunscreen from Primera, a korean natural skincare brand. I've been using their creams and have not seen negative results so may be this one is worth a try. - Hourglass 1.5MM Mechanical Gel Eye Liner ($16 at Sephora)
This is one of my most anticipated releases this month. I love gel liners, but cleaning the brush afterwards can be a real pain. Plus, the pot packaging is not very travel-friendly. So, I'm grateful that Hourglass comes out with this portable, easy to use gel liner pencil. I've read many good reviews so I'm even more excited to try it out. - Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro Matte Lacquer ($33 at Nordstrom)
I've never paid much attention to this product until I saw actress Gong Hyo Jin wears it in the new Korean drama 'It's OK, That's Love.' It's intensely pigmented and has nice matte finish. The nude shade 'Blush' that she wore blew me away. I just love it so much. I don't own any Armani products but I'm looking forward to start out with this one. - Innisfree Jelly Tint ($7.98 at Jolse)
This was released a while ago, but due to mixed reviews on it, I'm still hesitant whether to try it out or not. There are several shades that I like, so may be I'll get it if I happen to stop by Korea because it's so cheap there. - Guerlain KissKiss Shaping Cream Lip Color ($37 at Saks)
I've never tried Guerlain products before but I've heard that they are pretty good though pricey. I'm still tempted to splurge on the Meteorite highlighter but it's probably best if I start with something smaller. I stumbled upon this new release on Saks and fell in love with the shade 'Sugar Kiss'. It reminds me of YSL Rosy Coral which I absolutely love. - Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask ($120 at Omorovicza)
I have to confess - I eventually splurged on a $70 foam cleanser from Omorovicza - and I can't love it more. My Sulwhasoo is still doing the work but it's just not travel-friendly. The Omorovicza's performance is on par with Sulwhasoo's and comes in a travel-friendly tube packaging. Since it works so well, I'm now lusting over other products from the brand. Currently, I'm eyeing their deep cleansing mask simply because I need one right now and a lot of bloggers seem to love it.
What beauty products are on your wishlist this month? Please feel free to share :)
I love wishlists, except now I want to try the hourglass eyeliner lol. I'm doing a giveaway on my blog to mark 1/2 a year so far. Details and how to enter at www.newhautmonde.blogspot.ca
