S E O U L (6) : Cafe Street Samcheong-dong [삼청동] & Innisfree Jeju House

Hey, guys! Today, I'll wrap up my Seoul travelogue with Samcheong-dong, one of my favorite places in Seoul. If you like to explore different cafes with unique themes and menus, you'll definitely enjoy walking through Samcheong-dong since it's known as Cafe Street. Here, you can see many cafes along the way, and they all have distinct characteristics. I wish I had a whole day just to hop around cafes and take photos, but I didn't have enough time. Therefore, I only went to one that I anticipated to visit the most - the Innisfree Jeju House. Before I talk about the cafe, let's take a brief look around Samcheong-dong.

Since cushion foundations became a trend, I have tried only a few of them to date including the super famous Hera UV Mist Cushion (which I despise). I would have tried more if not for the dewy (aka oily) finish that they tend to provide because Koreans are obsessed with dewy skin. Since I live in a warmer climate and have oily-combo skin that certainly doesn't need any more dewiness, it is hard for me to find a cushion made for my skin type. Innisfree Eco Flower Tint Balm No.2, 3, 4 Review & Swatches

Whew, it took me quite a while to edit all the photos for this post, but here it is. Innisfree released the Eco Flower Tint Balm around November or December of last year, but I haven't heard much about it from international bloggers although I've seen quite a lot of Korean bloggers talking about it. Well, it's likely because it wasn't advertised as much as other products from the brand that were released around the same time, like the Orchid skincare line. S E O U L (5) : Romantic Spot - N Seoul Tower [N서울타워]

Hey guys! Who else is excited for the upcoming Valentine's Day? When I was in Korea, I felt like everyday I was there was Valentine's Day. The couple culture was huge - you can often see couples showing affection in public and some literally wear identical outfits. I also noticed that there are many romantic spots in Seoul, including one on which I will be talking about today - the N Seoul Tower located on Namsan Mountain. It's famous because of the love locks. Couples come here to lock padlocks with their names written on along the fence of the tower and throw the key away. The legend says doing so will make their love unbreakable. There are similar places with this legend across the world, such as in Paris.

S E O U L (4) : Strolling Around Bukchon Hanok Village [북촌한옥마을]

What I find truly amazing about the beautiful traditional Bukchon Hanok Village is how well it persevered. From the look of it, you might think this village is out in the middle of nowhere, but it is actually in the middle of bustling Seoul. People still lives in the old, traditional houses while carrying out a modern lifestyle. Of course, the interior is most likely renovated for more comfort and practicality, and electricity is installed. However, it's just rare these days to see exterior of traditional structures so minimally altered. While strolling around the village, you can still feel the presence of the old way of life.
