NOTD: Christian Louboutin 'Rouge Louboutin' Nail Color

Alright, let me warn you first that this NOTD post will be pretty photo-heavy. Well, how can it not be when it is featuring the extravagant Rouge Louboutin - one of the most anticipated beauty release this year! Of course, I was initially reluctant to spend 50 bucks on a bottle of nail polish, but the packaging did completely win me over. I knew it would look beautiful on my dresser :) Rouge Louboutin, which is the color of Louboutin's iconic red sole. is the first shade released, and many will be following (which I hope I won't be liking any, or else I will definitely become penniless).

NOTD: Transparent Ombre Nails With Laneige Water Drop Nail

Laneige Water Drop Nail is the limited edition nail lacquer from Laneige. It comes in 5 different shades and is basically a tinted polish. I like the idea of using transparent polishes to create ombre nails so I bought 2 of the shades to test it out. The result is not perfect - I'm still mastering the technique lol - but I'm getting there.

Tom Ford Spring 2014 Collection: Lip Color Sheer in Summer Fling & Nail Lacquer in Indiscretion

For Spring, Tom Ford has released a limited edition collection featuring a beautiful ivory packaging instead of the usual black. When I first saw this on Nordstrom, I was stunned by how gorgeous it is. The collection comes with Lip Color Sheer (available in 8 shades - US $49 each) and Nail Lacquer (available in 4 shades - US $32 each, 12 ml). When I visited the Tom Ford counter at Bergdorf Goodman, the sales assistant swatched Color Lip Sheer in Summer Fling on my lips and I really loved how it looked on me, so I decided to get it. I wasn't planning on purchasing the nail lacquer, but I guess the beautiful packaging just got me.
